To me now that I know what the flavors are made of you can never rely of the smell that hits your knows. That ooh that smells good smell can never be trusted now that I have read this book.
While going through only some of the foods in my house, I was able to find many foods in which amazingly surprised me about whether or not they had artificial or natural flavors. For instance Prego not Ragu has all natural flavor while Ragu had both. Lipton ice tea mix depends on what you but. The regular had artificial while the diet had both natural and artificial flavoring. Ginger Ale was guessed to have artificial but when I read the label it turns out to be all natural flavors. The foods that people portray as have artificial flavors sometimes surprise you and end up having all natural and vice versa.

Surprised
Towards the beginning of the book Fast Food Nation it continued to be boring and hopping around from subject to subject. However, during the third the author states how the McDonald company cheats their employees by not paying their overtime and sometimes even "forcing them to work on their own time." They have even threatened to close down restaurants if anyone tries to unionize against the company. For instance in the book they closed down a McDonald in Canada because the employees had tried to form a union and then opened another just down the block from the old one. They hired all new employees. These chapters have infuriated me and now despise any and all McDonald restaurant.
